Frequently Asked Questions
Are your guides officially licensed?
Yes — every guide who works with us holds an official Andalusian tour guide licence. That’s not just a formality. It means real, accredited knowledge of Málaga’s history, architecture, and culture — and it means you’re in safe, professional hands from the moment the tour starts.
What makes you different from other tour companies in Málaga?
Málaga has plenty of tour companies. What sets us apart is that our guides are genuine locals who care about the experience, not just the schedule. We try to keep our groups small, we adapt to the people in front of us, and we focus on the stories and details that don’t make it into the guidebooks. Most of our business comes from word of mouth — and we think that says it all.
What types of tours do we offer?
We run four experiences in Málaga. Our free walking tour is the perfect introduction to the city’s history and old town. Our free Alcazaba tour takes you inside one of Spain’s best-preserved Moorish fortresses with a licensed guide bringing every corner to life. Our tapas tour explores Málaga’s incredible food scene through the bars and bodegas locals actually use. And our private tour gives you a fully customised experience built entirely around your group. All tours are led by officially licensed local guides and run in English.
Is Málaga worth visiting beyond the beach?
Without question. Most people arrive for the Costa del Sol sunshine and leave surprised by how much the city itself has to offer. Málaga has one of the best-preserved Moorish fortresses in Spain, the birthplace of Picasso, a Roman theatre in the middle of the city centre, an incredible food scene, and an old town that rewards slow exploration. A good guide makes all the difference between ticking boxes and actually understanding a place.
Are your tours suitable for families and first-time visitors to Málaga?
Absolutely. Whether it’s your first time in Málaga or you’ve been coming for years and want to go deeper, we tailor the experience to the group. Families, couples, solo travellers, and groups are all welcome. Our guides are used to keeping things engaging for all ages — curious kids and history-loving adults included.
Can you contact us before booking if you have questions?
Always — we’d rather answer your questions upfront than have you show up unsure about anything. Drop us a message via WhatsApp, email, or the contact form on our website and we’ll get back to you quickly. We’re a small team and we actually reply ourselves — no bots, no automated responses, just a real person who knows the tours inside out.
